Mr. Ahamedul Karim Chowdhury works as a Terminal Manager in Chittagong Port Authority. At present he is looking after Pangaon Inland Container Terminal, as CEO. His responsibilities are the entire operations and management of the terminal. He began his career with OOCL in 1992 and worked there for almost five years in sales & marketing wing. After that he joined in Chittagong Port Authority in February, 1997. He did Masters in Shipping & Transport with distinction 'cum laude' from the Netherlands Maritime University in 2008-2009. He also obtained Diploma with distinction in 'Port, Shipping & Transport Management from International Maritime Transport Academy, Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2005-06 and diploma in' Marketing of Services' from Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands in 2011. He attended as a keynote speaker as well as panellist in CIMC-2015, Colombo, Sri Lanka and India-Bangladesh Cotton festival-2016, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Containers India-2016 in Mumbai, India and East Coast Maritime Business Summit-2017 in Visakhapatnam, India. He also attended Special American Business Internship Training in USA in 2015.
