Mohammad Hamza Mahbub with over 15 years of solid experience in service and retail industry has worked in both International and National Levels. His hands-on experience and in-depth exposure in different roles in complete diverse settings enabled him with the insight of how people learn more and become truly efficient. His inside out coaching style and approach is very much appreciated both in Bangladesh and abroad as practical, sustainable and rewarding. He strongly thrives for self-excellence among individuals to be better human beings which surely and clearly bring dynamic development beyond expectations in wider perspective. He finds pleasure through his training sessions as many participants believe that attending his trainings are life changing experiences in both personal and professional context.


Hamza Mahbub has an ideal blend of both practical and theoretical grounding enabling him adding value to his clients. His theoretical foundation comes from his study of Anthropology which equipped him with the urge to know every individual he meets and treats everyone as unique. His trainings are designed celebrating the diversity we have. Understanding each other makes the world around us a better place and resulting contribution towards success. His practical experience comes from the time he started marketing IT equipment as a student to working as area manager of Central London of Gala Coral group, a leading UK conglomerate and subsequently various other renowned clients requiring trainings on personal and intra personal excellence, customer relationship, etiquettes, leadership and team building as well as other technical and soft skill sessions.


When it comes to management consultancy, he is an expert who has worked with global organizations like Gala Coral Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Tesco, McDonald’s and European Union. Currently he is the in-charge and core trainer of learning and Development, Human Resources department of Rahimafrooz superstores limited (AGORA), along with some prominent national and international training providers as a part time trainer.


Upon his return to Bangladesh from UK back on 2010, he undertook two secondment assignments on solely personal interest. He has led the operation team of Rahimafrooz superstores Ltd., where he has contributed as an internal Trainer and Core SAP ERP Member and Wincor team lead where his core responsibilities were Delivering training of all employees both technical (SAP and Wincor) and soft skills, Developing training materials for retail school and performing as one of the core in-house trainers, team lead for the implementation of Wincor POS, responsible for SAP and Wincor integration and assuring compatibility with retail operations alongside managing the most prestigious and profitable outlet of Rahimafrooz superstores ltd. He has also worked as a team leader at Standard Chartered Bank and made history by managing and guiding three huge teams which yielded spectacular results. He left Rahimafrooz on 2013 and served as independent trainer and joined back the same organization at 2015.


He has provided consultancy and training for people at all levels of organizations of all shapes and sizes delivering many life-changing and value adding programs.


He has successfully completed numerous training both home and abroad including TOT (Train the Trainers) by Sensei international, Training on Salesmanship, leadership and team building, Effective supervision and delegation and training for success in customer care conducted by Gala Coral group. After his study in Bangladesh, he started his career in retail management in MacDonald’s UK, as a part of the Crew Member. He then joined Tesco as a supervisor, market leader in supermarket industry in UK with a market share 31%. After that he served European Union and Gala Coral Group in different Management roles. In Coral he was in charge of 31 retail stores of Central London.


He has completed his B. S. S. and M.S.S in Anthropology from Dhaka University. He also holds a diploma in Diploma in Network Centered Computing from NIIT.




  • Successfully implemented the SAP and Wincor project within very strict deadline as a SAP core team member and Wincor functional lead at Rahimafrooz superstores limited.
  • Delivered soft skill training to employees of levels both home and abroad
  • Delivered technical training to all members of Rahimafrooz superstores limited for smooth operation of SAP and Wincor.
  • Significantly contributed to the CORAL sales team’s performance in 2008-09 as area manager, central London which made the company elevate from 3rd place in the market to 2nd, with a target-beating 31% share of the market sector; grew the business against a 13% drop in growth with the whole sector of betting industry in the respective area.
  • During 2007 – 08, total of 3 million GBP (433% of annual target) was earned through his managed outlet with the implementation of his team building, customer relationship and personal excellence training along with his personal planning and team effort, as it was a very big challenge for a new outlet in the most competitive area in the Europe, and he motivated the whole team to achieve this success.
  • Involved in high PR events and administration of an international team representing European Commission deployed an EU Election Observation Mission (EOM) for the Parliamentary elections in Bangladesh.
